Clinique is TERRIBLE. All of their skincare contains alcohol, which is drying to the skin. Lancome is nice for more mature women, they have great skincare as long as you don't have any fragrance sensitivity. Covergirl is good for things like masacara or gloss. Never heard of Quo. MAC is the best for color and foundation. They have the best pigmentation and the biggest range of foundation/concealer shades. Urban Decay has fun colors, too. Nars is another good brand, though they are quite pricey. Nars has great blush.

You can't compare drug store brands to professional brands. MAC is my personal favorite of the brands you've listed. CoverGirl is not a bad drug store band, though.
Clinique is the best by far in my opinion! =]
