Has anyone used or use Clinique's 3-Step Skin Care?

I got a few samples and was wondering how everyone liked or disliked it.

THANKS!Has anyone used or use Clinique's 3-Step Skin Care?
It's been around for years. I used it for quite a while %26amp; liked it. It's nice that they have the different systems to for dry or oily skin too! And always wait until they have their bonus! If you spend I think $17.50 the bonus gifts can be incredible :)Has anyone used or use Clinique's 3-Step Skin Care?
Where'd you get the samples from?
i liked it alot.. its a bit pricy, but it works wonders. im addicted to it.
Clinique is my favorite brand. 3 step skin care is a wonderful trio! :-) Iam still using it
I use it. It's rather outside my budget, but it really does work for keeping my skin clear, and that's worth it to me. It's really good, but if you've got really bad acne or you break out a lot, try Proactiv Solution, which is really good on bad breakouts.
ya it seems pretty good, me and my sis been using for few months.
I bought some a few years ago and i have really oily skin and it made it so much worse. So i pretty much lost my money. I would STRONGLY recommend Estee Lauder! Their makeup lasts all day and their skin care is great. And i know if you dont like the make up or skin care stuff you can return it and get a full refund no matter how much youve used.
my mom has been using it for years and her skin is very clear.
Back in my twenties, that is all I used. It definitely help clear up my skin and I started my teenaged daughter on it. She later switched to ProActive and found that it worked better for her. (For me -- now that I am older, my skin is a lot drier so I have changed to another brand.)
I think it was swell!
Yes, it's an excellent product, (but the smell is not to good). ;(

Clinique, Noxzema, or Clean & Clear? Which is better.?

I used to have clear skin and I've been breaking out a lot recently so which brand works better?Clinique, Noxzema, or Clean %26amp; Clear? Which is better.?
I love the Clinique 3 step face cleansers. Never used Noxzema, and Clean and Clear dries my skin out. Go with the Clinique, its a bit pricier, but well worth the price!Clinique, Noxzema, or Clean %26amp; Clear? Which is better.?
Clinique is decent.

Don't use Clean and Clear or Noxzema, they dry out your skin even with moisturizers.

I recommend Dial Bar Soap. Cheap and HIGHLY effective!
clinique

What do you think of clinique? Is it just another usless product?

its great

been using it since 1993What do you think of clinique? Is it just another usless product?
I tried it once... It is way too harsh... I prefer Clarins. What do you think of clinique? Is it just another usless product?
Probably. Never heard of it either.
It's pretty good product depends on what your using from it
i like it very much

all the clinique products i've used are great

foundation, powder, anti-puffiness eye cream, beach and tan products etc.
I tried their stuff. It never impressed me. I prefer the products from The Body Shop, and also Neutrogena. For face care.

For cosmetics. I like Benefit, The Body Shop, Too Faced, and Physician's Formula

Clinique foundation are they good?

okay so recently the foundation i used dint match my skin anymore and all the other shades are either too light to dark so i was thinking about buying a clinique foundation has anyone tried them if so which one and what ur opinion on them and whats the price like about how much do they costClinique foundation are they good?
I use Clinique foundation and I think that it works really well. I do suggest that you have one of the Clinique beauty consultants help you find the right foundation for you. They will help pick the right type (i.e. for oily skin) and the right color.

If you do find that you do not like the foundation then you can take it back. I had to return a product once because it made me feel oily and they did not give me any fuss.Clinique foundation are they good?
yes clinique foundation is the best and i use all of there make up and face cleanser's. is worth your money and it last a long time and the girls are very helpfull and they know what they are talking about. they have to wear clinique make up and to tell there custmers how they are. also the price is not that bad it will run you about $15.00-$20.00 good luck
You know.. I bought so many things from clinique,

and i really wasn't very satisfied by their products, i thought that they would just entirely pass covergirl or something like that, but unfortunately It didn't occur, you should try other labels, but i do not recommend clinique.

BTW..their face washing products do not work at all..
they are typically around 20$ in the US, and 25$ in Canada. they target towards people with dry skin, as their skincare line, and all the makeup, including foundation, is very hydrating, but is unfriendly to people with oily skin types.
They can range from $15 to 50.

But don't let that change your mind!

They work amazingly!

And there is all types.

The have one for red skin, oily skin, dry skin, etc.

They work well, and are very positive and are proven to be good for your skin.

Good Luck!

:)
I have never used any from clinique, but I always check the ingredients, some have lead, some are not written but if you test them. you find that they have lead. Visit
yes i use clinique superfit makeup. it hides the blemishes and nobody can't tell u r wearing foundation. plus it lasts long and is not too expensive
I prefer Benefits foundation and concealers, they work great!

Clinique vs Clarins, which one is better?

Can anyone tell me which brand is better for skin care products (cleanser, moisturizer, etc), i have used clinique before and I liked it, but I have heard good things about clarins too, so I just want to if anyone has used both and which is better, also if they are any other brands that are good, please let me know.

Clinique vs Clarins, which one is better?
I've been using Clarins since I was a teenager %26amp; my skin is in great condition in comparison to other people my age (or so I've been told!). I am a ';outdoors'; person which puts extra strain on the skin, but the Clarins products keep my skin protected!

One nice thing is that Clarins gives out great samples so that you can try it before buying anything!

BTW- their products are all natural extracts and they do NOT animal test!!!! Clinique DOES test on animals.

Another, more expensive product line is Sommes...

Hope this helps!

Mich (:Clinique vs Clarins, which one is better?
i'm an estee person..its not for elder ppl only... they hav an awesum pore minimizer 'idealist' that i use everyday nd the product is perfect in everyway. love their day wear, nite wear, eye creme, foundation..
clinique didnt really work for me

but i havent used clarins

so maybe just ask them for some travel size ones to try out =)
Clinique
Clinique!
clinique always
I think clinique is the best

Has anyone used the Clinique Workout foundation? (10 points)?

Im thinking of buying it because my foundation NEVER stays on no matter what I do..how does it work on oily skin?

Thank you =)Has anyone used the Clinique Workout foundation? (10 points)?
I don't use the workout one but i use the superbalanced one. I've tried like all the foundations around and this is the best one by far. Its great for my skin because i have combination skin and it is applied using a proper foundation brush. Therefore when it is being applied there are no natural oils from the hands being mixed in with the foundation. Therefore it makes your skin less prone to looking sweaty a few hours down the line. Its something i had never actually thought about before but since using the brush after advice from my make up consultant I've seen a huge difference. It also stays on and looks fresh all day. I also wear a powder on top which keeps everything in place. And the main thing from my point of view is that it looks really natural. I don't look a tad orange with it on. I would really recommend it.Has anyone used the Clinique Workout foundation? (10 points)?
i havn't used the workout foundation, but i use the clinique superfit and superbalanced foundations which work brilliantly for me. ive worn it to the gym before and it still looked good when i left. you could always try asking at the clinique counter, they're really helpful and will help you choose the right one! good luck.

Its been about a week since ive been using clinique for acne...?

and its given me really bad spots!! i mean not the worst ive ever had but their pretty big and red. it says on the instructions you should be getting clearer skin! but im not ...ive also been told that 'it gets worse before it gets better' and ill eventually end up with time great skin! i have to say my skin is alot less oily! im not sure what to do about it!!!! will they give me my money back if i complain about the product? Its been about a week since ive been using clinique for acne...?
What works for one person, may not work for another. I saw a test done on a news show once, that had people test different skin-cleansers; some really big brands too like Nuetregena, Proactiv, Clearasil, Clinique...

And even though Proactiv worked on one person, it didn't work on ALL of the people being tested. Everyone's skins different.

I would suggest that if the product you bought doesn't begin to show results in another week or two, that you try something else. Its been about a week since ive been using clinique for acne...?
It's hard to know without knowing what your skin was before and which exact products your are using.

It takes about 3 weeks to see if a line will clear your skin (and 8-12 weeks to see if it will help fine lines) so I would give it another 2 weeks and then return it. I am wondering if it is too harsh for your and stripping your skin too much ... perhaps try not using the toner for week and see if it gets better.

If you have further ??s go to my blog at www.prettybycritty.com and hit the contact page and I'll do my best to help.
I use clinique too. You are probably cleaning too much, which is possible. If you over wash your face, it can couse irritation. So use it gently and don't forget to put lotion on ur face afterwards!
see you'r doctor he'll give you some anti biotics to clear you up
i hated all of the clinique acne products except for the acne solutions spot healing gel.

After you rinse it off, do you then wash your face with a separate cleanser? (Or do you think of the Balm as your makeup remover + cleanser in one?)

Also, about how much of the balm do you use at a time? (Please compare it to something of similar size, like maybe a coin...)

    no i dont.

I've tried samples of the balm (didn't really like it as well as the one in the bottle.) The amount I used was about the size of a nickel.

Take The Day Off is a cleanser also. Just be sure to rinse your face well after use and always use moisturizer afterward!

    I like clinique
    clinique
Neither. Almay makes great hypoallergenic eye make up remover pads. I swear by them. great for contact lense wearers. not a bad price either.
I'm going to be honest with you because I would want someone to tell me what they sincerely thought was the best, and I really think Mary Kay oil free eye make-up remover is the best of the best. I've tried them all! and I always come back to this one. it's oil free, fragrance free, and it just swipes off your eye make-up like it was nothing, even the waterproof stuff! and it doesn't dry the skin area around the eyes nor does it make it oily. it's just a great product!

    Hope this helps you out!
clinique is gentler on my eyes but it depends wht one you like better...
I'd say clinique because it's fragerance free!
I like clinique way better, because it's gentler on my eyes

Proactive, 3step Clinique, or 10% glycolic wash?

I've used Proactive, and it works at keeping my acne down, but as soon as I stop, there they come again!, Clinique feels really nice on my skin and i love the moisturizing gel, not too happy with the soap I think I can do with something a little stronger. The lady at the spa recommended a 10% glycolic wash which I took a sample of and seemed quite good.

I want something that will keep my acne in control (i don't have that much) while clear up my acne scars!

Has anyone tried these products. what do you think?Proactive, 3step Clinique, or 10% glycolic wash?
Im a beauty therapist and to make a well informed decision about what products you should use you need to firstly understand your skin. There are a million products on the market and the only way you will make a good choice about which to use will be to make an educated one. Our skin is a very clever organ and its more than capable of doing its job-often it only needs a little bit of help. Thats the part thats tricky. If its not the right kind youre going to make the problem worse. Firstly, it sounds to me like you are over drying it. If you remove all the 'good' oils from your skin, your skin is clever enough to realise that it is being stripped of them and will start to produce more. I once had a client that used the 3 step clinque system. She came to me with a mild form of acne and a yellow skin discolouration on her chin. She had been using if for about 3 years. THe discolouration was the result of her skin 'thickening' because it was being over cleansed and although her skin was essentially water dry, she had acne because the pores were blocked. Because of the skin build up and clogged pores the spots spread to a mild acne. I eventually convinced her to chuck the whole lot in the bin and use nothing but a mild exfollient for 2 weeks. A few facials and gentle cleansing later the problem totally cleared up and she turned out to be a very happy client! The key is in readdressing the balance; deciding how much to cleanse and how much to moisturise (if at all). Once you regulate this your skin will do the rest. Of course there are people that suffer from hormonal imbalances which can be treated internally with medication but for mild sufferers its treatable externally. I know you might not believe me to start with but if you want to fix the problem or at least control it without using such harsh chemicals on your skin which are only a temporary measure, you are going to need to change your whole skincare regime. Trust me on this; I see the benefits firsthand every day!

There are some good skincare sites listed on http://www.dermastore.com/. One of them is www.acneresource.org which has some helpful tips and advice. One of my favourite skin care brands is mignon skincare and you will find it on this site. They have a lot of products created to treat acne but they are still mild enough not to aggravate the condition further.

    Hope this advice helps!

    Regards

AdeleProactive, 3step Clinique, or 10% glycolic wash?
the stuff that i use fur my acne is called acne free
Acne is not cureable so having it undercontrol is what all of these products will do. I have used proactive and clinique. I persoanly like the pro active kit with the facial mask. It helps control my break outs and keeps my skin looking perfect. Try using it twice a day, than after your face is all cleared slowly reduce down to once a day, than after about three weeks than go to once every second day than three weeks of that go down to once every three days and so on. Use the mask once a week or on a pimple that happens to show up. When you slowly get off of proactive and reduce how many times you use it your face will than get used to that, and you wont need to use it all the time, I would use it at least two times a week though one on monday and again on thrusday. And more times if you start breaking out.
Proactive is really good, but there's not reason to stop using it, of course it's goin got keep coming back, thats why there's medication in it.

    Good luck :)

Actaully, the only thing that stopped my acne was birth control. My face used to break out and now I havn't had a zit in about 6 months. And when I do get them, they go away fast. Honestly, I would try the 10% glycolic wash, see if it works more for the long-term. If that doesn't, just go back to the Proactive since you know that works. You don't really want to mess with your skin too much.
Proactive def sux, 3 step clinique worked for only a month or so then my skin got used to it. I haven't used the 10% glycolic wash but guess what... I tried them all. DO not waste so much money just because they are more expensive doesn't mean they will work. I used Clinique, Lancome, Proactive, etc... and the Johnson Clean and Clear worked the best. Just wash your face with 10% Benzoyl Proxide once a day in the mornings, then put on Avon's daily moisturizer with sun screen, use ONLY water based makeup, do not touch your face because you clog your pores. We can talk about it more ... pick this as the best answer
If you find something that works for you... KEEP USING IT!!
    Try this for acne:

Accutane-an antibiotic and Ziana- a new acne gel. See your dermotologist. Also wash face with cool or cold water, never hot. And never use scrubs or toners, they aggravate acne. Use a mild cleanser and mositurizer like Cetaphil.

If you want to try products specifically for acne, try Panoxyl Bar 10% Benzoil Peroxide soap bar.

Try Mario Badescu. I have tried Clinique, Proactiv, and neither did what Mario Badescu has done. Your skin will love it and you will see results right away. www.mariobadescu.com

which of these works best to conceal well and highlight certain features on the face? thanks!Which clinique liquid makeup is best?
I think the continuous coverage is the best!Which clinique liquid makeup is best?
Well it all depends on your skin type. If you are more oily, and you want something lightweight, go with superfit makeup or stay true makeup. If you also have acne, than go with clarifying makeup, it will help conceal, and treat the acne. super balanced makeup is for combo skin, and is the most popular foundation. continuous coverage, workout, repairwear, and dewy smooth makeup are going to be a lot heavier, and dewy smooth has oil in it. If you have more normal skin, perfectly real foundation is good, also almost makeup for summer, but is not going to give you much coverage, it will just even out your skin tone. The new liquid illuminator is fantastic, I use it every day WITH my foundation, it will give you that highlight.
I used to use Superfit Makeup for over 8 years. Use another brand now, but I liked it, especially because I have an oily complexion. Ask the person at the Clinique counter for advice.

    Best wishes!
they are all really good but you might wanna check with the lady working there she won't sell you something that your skin will have a reaction to. your best bet is to try all of them on and see how you like each one they all are very different. i use the perfectly real and superbalanced but no matter which one you use be sure to not blend it in with a sponge but use your fingers your skin will take the makeup better. they are all natural make up so you don't have to worry about your pores being clogged.

I just luv Clinique's lipsticks and lipgloss. They have a really sweet smell. The colour stays up quite long 2.
Clinique got the best mascara..no clumps, waterproof and the texture is the kind that you can peel off...its ******* amazing!

  • Does clinique 3 step lotion (toner) go out of date?

    Heya

i just bought clinique lotion (part of the 3 step program) as it was on offer but i stil have a nearly full bottle of lotion left that im using now

so just wanted to know if Clinique Lotions %26amp; toners in general go out of date?

thanx guys xxxDoes clinique 3 step lotion (toner) go out of date?
They Shouldn't, mind you, you should put the lid on after you use it %26amp; keep it of direct sunlightDoes clinique 3 step lotion (toner) go out of date?
It generally depends on just how long you have had it for really, but like some lotions do. But if it looks the same as it did before then i would use it otherwise it is either out of date or just won't have the same effect. But be careful though cos it could have an opposite effect if you not cautious

    hope this helped'x
somewhere on the packaging or container there should be a small picture that looks like a pot with the lid off. written on this little pot is a number. the number indicates how long the product will last once you have opened it

    Clinique Superbalanced Foundation?

What do you think of Clinique Superbalanced foundation? I have normal to dry skin and am in my early 20's so I need something that is suitable for both my skin type and for my age. I need a foundation for day wear, something that gives good coverage but not too heavy all the same. I've tried some of the cheaper foundations including L'oreal, MaxFactor, Maybelline but didn't like them. Should I go for the Clinique or is there anything else you could recommend. Thanks :)Clinique Superbalanced Foundation?
I have used the clinique superbalanced foundation in breeze for about a year now and it really does target the right areas to moisturize and also it does not make your skin oily its defiantly worth the investment i would also suggest getting the Blended Face Powder and Brush it works wonders in combination with the superbalanced foundation!Clinique Superbalanced Foundation?
I would say the top brand of makeup would be MAC foundation, they have the SPF one, and the baody and face one, they range from 30-40 dollars. BUt i would reccomand going to SEPHORA and ask one of thoose ppl therre to help your find your foundation.

    hope i help

Whats better face lotion, olay or clinique?

any opinions if you use either one?Whats better face lotion, olay or clinique?
Clinique - it's worth the price.Whats better face lotion, olay or clinique?
if your face breaks out use clinique i use it as well
I have used Olay for years. It is a nice light lotion.
    olay
I like Olay. I have their night cream, day lotion, and also a special anti-aging lotion. I definitely recommend it because it's relatively cheap, and it doesn't make your skin oily, because it soaks in very nice.

What do you prefer .. Mac or Clinique?

and why? What do you prefer .. Mac or Clinique?
Both lines have great products and manufactured by the Estee Lauder Companies.

Clinique is more mainstream colour and great skin care while MAC has phenomenal, funky, hip colour and brushes with marginal skin care.

MAC foundation are awesome and offer many options for women of colour. What do you prefer .. Mac or Clinique?
    MAC
i love clinique superbalm, the raspberry color is perfect. but i really want to get a tube of the malibu barbie lipglass
MAC. They have a better selection of colors
I actually prefer both. Mac of course is Mac and is known for intense pigments that really make colors pop. it's highly recommened for photos, fashion shows, anything would require a heavier application for durability. Mac shadows are great and comes in lots of colors and textures which promotes creativness. After all it is the a line created for and by makeup artist..

Clinique is good for the everyday woman who kinda stays in their makeup routine. They have a large variety of cleaning products for all skintypes.

Mac is domination for teens to mid 30's in demographics and clinique focuses on the more mature woman who believes in skin care.
I have tried foundations from both places, and I don't like either one. They go on too heavy for me, and I'm a transsexual! If you want a nice natural look, go to Lancome and get tinted moisturizer. Max Factor makes a good foundation as well, so don't think you have to get expensive stuff.

Lancome has good eyeshadows, but go for Mac if you need a dramatic look with a lot of color.
MAC...make-up stays on for a loooong time on my face
Mac -- it lasts longer, in my opinion
Mac, i used clinique when i was younger and it always seemed to fade and come off. Mac stays on for a very long time and looks very professional
    MAC baby!!!

But Chanel is better than both. :)
    ~MAC...Clinique dries out my skin
I actually like them both. I have very oily skin in the summer and combination skin in the winter. In the winter I use MAC Fix-It. Since I have acne scares it really gives me a even, blended look when I use a moist brush to apply it. One color compliments many skin colors. In the Summer I use Clinique when I want a sheer matte look. It does well absorbing oil too. I recommend that you get on-line with Dermalogica.com and do a skin analysis so that you will know your skin type. Please remember that your skin changes often. So what works this month may not work next month. If you change your skin regiment your makeup will probably change too.

    GOOD LUCK!
    i like clinique the best..

but that's with thier lip gloss..

    t can be pricey..

    liek 15 a tube thingy..

    but i luv it..

and i get lots of compliments on how shiny and lucious my lips look..

good luck one pickin which one to get!
MAC.. Lighter on my pockets. More lasting on my face. :)
I prefer Mac although my mom works for clinique I get free stuff ...but Mac blends with my skin much better

I need to know eaither fr clinique or mac what color goes good w/ folie eyeshadow!?

I really like using it with MAC Shroom e/s!

Benefit- Concealer are fab (boi-ing, erase paste) Posietint Cheek/LipStain

Make Up For Ever- Really awesome colors, great alternative to MAC, I love the Aqua Eyes Eyeliner, foundation is great for fair-skinned people.

Clinique- Pressed Powders, Lipsticks (Black Honey, this color looks great on everyone)
I love Make - up forever. I have very oily skin and brought a pressed powder. I also like pretty much anything made by MAC.

    Clinique foundation; need help chosing?

I'm thinking of trying out clinique foundation. I have combination skin %26amp; I'm fairly tan. I tend to have small breakouts here %26amp; there. Which would be the best foundation for me from clinique?Clinique foundation; need help chosing?
My complexion is a lot like yours and my favorite foundation is called ';Almost Makeup'; by Clinique. It's super light and makes your skin looks naturally flawless, I really like it because you don't look too made up. It's SPF 15, which is definetely a plus. It doesn't clog your pores or make your skin oily during the day, so is good if your prone to breakouts. You should give it a try!Clinique foundation; need help chosing?
I'd suggest the Soft Finish makeup. It looks very natural, doesn't make yor skin oily or make you break out, and has a pretty dewey finish. I love it!!

dermalogicaWhici is beter dermalogica or clinique?
Dermalogica for sure spend their money on scientific research and clinique in adds.compare the ingredients ask for samplers before you buy them.

http://www.dermalogica.comWhici is beter dermalogica or clinique?
Dermalogica - this is used by professional estheticians and is MUCH better than Clinique.
    Demalogica.
clinique make up drys out your skin, its not that great either
I believe Dermalogica. They don't use chemical foaming agents. Look at the list of ingredients on the back of both products and you'll see a lot of chemicals and colouring agents on Clinique, and natural plant extracts in Dermalogia, no colours added. Dermalogica is only sold in professional salons. Clinique is sold in department stores. Price difference is negligible. . . Dermalogica all the way, i've been using it for nearly 10 years.
I prefer clinique but I do like the rice powder cleanser that exfoliates by dermalogica.
Definitely clinique!! Dermalogica is too perfumy!!
    Dermalogica.

This is the brand I was told was the best when I went in to get my facial! It's more expensive and harder to find, but worth it!

And I actually hate Clinique cause it reminds me of the stupid biatches in high school that thought they were sooooo cool cause they wore Clinique. And they would take it to extreme...like 50lbs of makeup on their face. Sickening!

But other than the little bias- i still say Dermalogica.
Try it for yourself. What is good for one person isn't good for another. Whichever one works best for you.

    Clinique or Mac makeover?

I am going to a Mardi Gras Ball tomorrow, I have an appointement with Mac, But Clinique is free. Anyone tryed both, witch one does a better job and last the longest?Clinique or Mac makeover?
I love Clinique's skincare products, but if I were you I would pay for the Mac makeover. (I didn't know they charged) You will be the belle of the ball. The only way I wouldn't is if it was outrageously high. How much is it?Clinique or Mac makeover?
MAC IS GREAT IT LOOK BEAUTIFUL AND LASTS A LONG TIME!
I never had a MAC makeover, but I have had a Clinique one. They were very friendly and they didn't push me to buy anything which I thought was cool.
I think it depends on how u want ur makeup. If u want make up that going to make u stand out stick with mac if u want of a toned down look and want to save money go to clinique maybe they can do ur makeup like the people at mac if u ask im pretty sure they can.
MAC Hands down! I have had both and MAC is by far the best one. Since your going to mardi gras you will want a dramatic look and you will def get that with mac. Good Luck!
Mac - dramatic %26amp; cakey, clinique - pretty %26amp; flawless.
Never tried either but I would go with the free one!
I love clinique products! They are better for my sensitive skin. plus the makeover is free. It will be more subdued than Mac IMHO and if you are doing mardi gras maybe you want more BANG
natural look and doesnt cause breakouts = clinique

dramatic look but might cause breakouts = mac
Mac makeup is much brighter and dramatic.

The make-up will last longer than clinique just because it is so dramatic.

I definatly suggest that you go with mac, because of the event and the time last.

    Have fun at your ball!

i have Oily skin, that what the clinique test told me :]

but i dont break out alot. just occasionally.

but my question to you is...

    is it any good?

in general, does it keep skin clear? (before you break out)

i want some opinions before i buy it.

thanks in advance :]Does anyone know about the Clinique 3-step system?
I have been using Clinique 3 step faithfully for some time now.

I started with 2 and used it successfully for months - my face looked and felt better than ever!

However, and ask the salesperson to explain this to you properly - Clinique, if used correctly, gradually cleans out the layers of your skin.Eventually, you'll probably find you suddenly break out and the Clinique is doing nothing for a while. For many people, this problem subsides once the infected old layer of skin is gone. Which is a big yay!

However, for me, I was under a lot of stress, and away in Asia where my diet there helped to cause breakouts too, and the normal Clinique wasn't doing anything anymore.

Eventually, I vented my misery to a salesperson when I got home, after a few months of my skin still looking bad, and she gave me free samples of their anti-blemish section of the 3-step programme. I already used their anti-blemish gel (which can shrink spots and redness so quickly...), so I enthusiastically gave it a try.

Brilliant. I still use it now, I'm into my second lot and the same problem has not reoccurred. I plan to keep buying it.

Clinique is expensive, so you should try before you spend all that money. Ask for free samples, and if they can't give you that, they should be able to sell you a trial pack. This is cheaper, and allows you to see the effects it will have on your skin.

    Other tips/info

-Clinique (if used properly - only sweep the clarifying lotion over your face once- do not do one area more than this! And the moisturiser goes a loooooong way, so don't squeeze too much out!) will last you a long time, so the money invested in a good skincare regime like this will be worth it

-you do need to use it every day - the point is consistent care - you will notice a different if you skip it sometimes

-it's quite quick to do in mornings. I use the facial wash in the shower, and can quickly sweep the lotion over my face and put on the moisturiser in a matter of minutes - you don't need to be there forever rubbing in moisturiser, which is a time saver

    - don't be concerned that your face tingles a bit when using it, especially at first. It's a good sign (obviously, to an extent - if it's a bad tingle, you may need to change to a different level)

-ask a saleswoman to show you the products effects on your hand. Fun to watch and she should talk you through how to use it to get the best results

-wait for Clinique Bonus time to be on - you'll get LOADS of free little things when you spend money on the 3 step programme - and they're usually pretty good stuff!

-Clinique is a great range. Their make-up compliments their skincare range, and I use quite a few of their products on a daily basisDoes anyone know about the Clinique 3-step system?
I work for Clinique. The 3 step system is very good for all kinds of skin.

If you are oily, you are # 3 or 4.

The cleanser is first and comes in three different kinds depending on your skin. Step 2 is clarifying lotion which exfoliates. Step three is the moistirizer and comes in 3 different ones.

Go to a counter and you will be shown which is best for you.

    It works great.
I love Clinique. I have super dry skin though. My problem isn't that I break-out, but rather that my skin is super sensitive and gets almost scaley... I get these rough dry patches that look horrible and Clinique really helps me treat that issue so I have healthy glowing skin. I am very happy with their products, but since I am treating something other then you I'm not sure if my testament helps at all.
I used it about 3 years ago with fantastic results. I had combination skin used the products and it kept my skin clean without making it oily. Hormonal changes made me stop using it (I got pregnant) and I haven't had any skin issues since.

It's a great product! Good Luck!
oh yeah, its really good, make sure you get the stuff for oily skin, like the moisturizer should be the gel, its rlly good, and you can use it in the morning and at night ;] hope i helped
Theres really a lot you could do. Its difficult to pick so what I end up doing is starting cheap and trying out a few different ones. The review site is pretty good at http://www.brandsmakeup.com visit and browse the reviews.
Its horrible, it will irritate your skin really bad. It gave me little red dots on my chin that are scarred and look horrible. Don't buy it.

Has anyone ever tried clinique's brush-on cream liner?

    does it work well?

    how fast does it dry?

    does it last long?

    how bright is the color?

thanks to all :)Has anyone ever tried clinique's brush-on cream liner?
    Yes it works.

    dries in 15 minutes

    it lasts very long

it is brightHas anyone ever tried clinique's brush-on cream liner?
I haven't tried a brush on cream liner, but I do use Clinique's cream shaper for eyes, that comes in a pencil form. It works very well because the tip is soft, the line is easy to draw, and it lasts all day as long as I don't rub my eyes. I'm currently using the black diamond shade, which is black with subtle sparkle. Its the best eyeliner that I've ever used. I'm already on my 2nd pencil, and I won't be switching to a different eyeliner anytime soon.

Why isn't the clinique website working?

When I open it, it says 'Operation Aborted'.

Then I try again and try different links and it does the same thing.

maybe you shuold wait a little and try again, i was just on the website and it worked fine. your server may be blocking it.

What is better, proactive, clinique, murad...any other product for acne?

Please be honest.. :)What is better, proactive, clinique, murad...any other product for acne?
It really depends on your skin type. I have used all three products and haven't found any of them to be overly successful. My mom uses Murad and likes it a lot. However, I have a lot of friends that swear by Proactive. The Clinique astringent I used, worked well but was way to harsh on my skin after awhile. So far the best combo I have found is: 1 - Wash with a mild soap - like dove and 2- Use a dollop of the Proactive Skin Perfecting Lotion

The products that really dry out the skin in theory seem like a good idea. However, if you have skin at all like mine it will end up being worse. I always had to cake on so much moisturizer that I would end up making my face worse.

For those major problem zits, the ones that hurt real bad, I swear by the Proactive Spot Treatment. What is better, proactive, clinique, murad...any other product for acne?

    Who has used Clinique?

Who likes Clinique? Have u ever used the Perfectly Real compact makeup and what do u think of it? Does it offer the same coverage as a liquid foundation does? Or do u suggest the liquid instead of the powder foudation?Who has used Clinique?
My sis LUVS clinique. I think they tend to be a cleaner, more natural looking makeup, go to www.clinique.com and chat with an online makeup expert and they'll tell you exactly what base, etc,etc would be best for you. I think they have a questionaire type thing to determine your skin type, etc. also.

As for liquid vs. powder it depends on the finished look youre going for, and your skin type.

Or you could go to a clinique counter at a dept store and sample it yourself.Who has used Clinique?
I HATE CLINIQUE!!!! That crap made me break out in hives.
i love clinique! i have this moisturizer called dramatically different and it really works in the flaky areas of the face! its in a square bottle and its yellow. try it!

and to answer your question, both work really well. but i would have to say the perfectly real compact makeup works better than the liquid :) i hope i helped you!
I love clinique foundation. I have dry skin so i use the liquid in soft linen . I think its in the soft finish. Im really pale and ive tried everything and its the only one that matches my skin. the only other brand that i would wear is merale norman(dont think i spelled meral right).
I've used Clinique liquid foundation for many years. I used the compact make-up in high school. I prefer the liquid because you get more coverage.
i love: their lipsticks, sheer liners, powder blushes, tinted moisturizers, eyeshadows, pencil eyeliner, %26amp; kohl eyeliner

I hate; their lipliners, foundations, concealors
I love clinique. I like thier powder because you can use it without the liquid foundation and it looks natural which is what most people like. The liquid foundation makes me look fake so I like to stick with the powder because it goes on even and it is more flexible to your day.
For more coverage I would stick with a liquid to powder foundation. I love clinique's products. They're refreshing and affordable! If your skin if prone to acne be careful not to pile on the make-up trying to hide it, it will clog your pores and cause more breakouts. My daily routine is washing with proactive, toner, moisturizer for oily skin to prevent shine later in the day. Then I apply my foundation from clinique and if I need a shine control later I use a translucent powder from estee lauder (it's awesome)
I used Clinique back in college. Now I much prefer Clarion.
I have found that the makeup is alright, but if you have sensitive skin be cautious with the skin care products.
I love clinique eyeliners and eyeshadows
i think liquid is better, but i think that nutrogena is better than Clinique
    i love it

My Clinique 3-step system isn't working!! help!?

ok so i bought my 3-step system hoping for nice clear skin. i don't suffer from serious acne just occasional breakouts in my T-zone. after 2 days of using it my skin is breaking out WAY more than it used to. I have read that it gets better before it gets worse, but i have been using it for 5 days and there's no improvement, and for $60 there should be! Should i continue using it and will my skin get better? My Clinique 3-step system isn't working!! help!?
Any decent acne treatment takes time.

    What you read isn't true.

How most treatments work is they basically pull up the problems up to the surface, where it will heal better from there.

You will not get 2-day results. Keep going.

The main problem people have with acne treatments is lack of patience.

    Persevere!My Clinique 3-step system isn't working!! help!?
Trust me, not even the most expensive acne treatments work for everyone. I would go back to a Clinique counter and consult them about the problems you've been experiencing. Clinique is a very professional brand so they SHOULD be able to give you another 3 step system or at least give you better advice about the product.

If you don't want to spend your money on Clinique though, I recommend trying Neutrogena's Skin ID. My room mates got it and so far it has worked very well for them. It's based on a survey and they ask you what type of acne you get, your skin type, stress level, and a lot more questions and they determine what treatment you should get, it's really detailed and looks very promising.

    Good luck :)
I would try and use it a little while longer but if it doesn't work, attempt returning it. A great skin care regimen is just wash your face with Dove Soap. My skin is naturally usually blemish free but washing my face with that really helps keep the little pimples away, and it washes all my make-up off really easily, and best of all, it is cheap!

I recently started a fashion blog, and right now I only have one post; however, its going to be chic fashion for everyone. I love high fashion but can't afford it like most, so my goal is to show people everywhere how to look stunning. I hope to also talk about new make-up products and the best ones to buy for particular looks. Check it out:

    http://la-vie-est-chic.blogspot.com/

    And I hope I helped...
don't keep using it if your breaking out more than usual. i use clean and clear advantage acne control kit and it works great if you use it every morning and night. after i used it a couple of times my face was softer and most of my acne disappeared. go to walmart and get it. hope i helped! please answer mine! http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>
Many people find that that system makes their skin worse.

Keep using it for a week or two, then return it if it still breaks you out.

    Happy Heart!

I was in love with Happy for the longest time. It smelled so fresh and clean, with the citrus-y flower-y smell. I just loved it. But when one of my friends (that also loved it) accidentally bought Happy Heart instead of Happy, I decided that I liked it better, and we swapped. Happy heart is a sweeter smell. It's still very clean and light, but to me it just has something extra that I can't exactly put my finger on.Clinique happy or clinique happy heart?

I'm using starter kit of clinique(anti-blemish solutions)+ spot treatment gel,not really works. thank you,

hi.i'm using clinique products called anti blemish solutions(cleaning foam, clarifying lotion, clearing moisturizer + spot treatment gel) for 2weeks now. is those things really works? it seems that i dont see any difference so far. some blemishes turned into acne. am i using the right products of clinique or do i need to add some more of their products? please help . thank you. have a nice day.I'm using starter kit of clinique(anti-blemish solutions)+ spot treatment gel,not really works. thank you,
Clinique is overpriced and a very poor quality product. It is not geared for real skin problems. Please go see a Dermatologist or Esthetician to find the right skin care plan for you. Proactive is too harsh for most skin and I would never reccomend it.I'm using starter kit of clinique(anti-blemish solutions)+ spot treatment gel,not really works. thank you,
Tazorac works amazingly. Go to a dermatologist.
I would suggest Proactiv. From the various brands I have tried, it has worked the best. Clinique is quite expensive too, in comparison.

Clinique 3 step skin care system?

I have been using this for 5 days now and have got more spots than i had before! - is this meant to happen. Also i dont know if im using it right because its got really bad instructions! do i have to wet my face before i put the cleanser on?? TIPS PLEASE -- Also it is very exspencive so does anyone know any other system like this but cheaper??? HELPClinique 3 step skin care system?
    That is soo weird!

I bought the Clinique 3 step skin care system last Thursday.

I think its working, but I'm not sure.

Also, its weird because I was wondering weather I wet my face before I put the cleanser on. It does actually say in the instruction booklet which is in the box. You do wash your face before you put the cleanser on and then you wash it off afterwards.

You need to make sure that you wash your hands before you use it.

I also would reccomend to use the Clinique Blemish Gel, which you use on big spots, this then dries them up. You apply that after you've used the 3 step system. Don't rub the gel into the spot though, just dab it on and it will turn the spot hard and make it dry and go away. The gel is 拢12.Clinique 3 step skin care system?

Clinique or Philosophy or Proactive? Help my skin!!?

I am a proactive user of a couple years ... and i really am unhappy with the product and want to try something new----- which product do you suggest? I have frequent breakouts, large poors, blackheads on my nose, and dark circles under my eyes(just getting all the probs out in the open) Any help you can give me will be really appreciated-- i need something new so I'm leaning towards clinique or philosophy--- although i am not sure either contains benezol peroxide or syllic acid and i thought they were needed for acne to clear?

thanks!Clinique or Philosophy or Proactive? Help my skin!!?
    .

The skin releases toxins from inside the body. Try changing your diet to a very healthy toxin free one. Go to a health food store, there are plenty of books and nice people to offer advice. Did you ever hear the saying ';you are what you eat';? I eat allot of cheese, can you guess what my problem is? yep a little chubby, when I did eat really healthy I was thin, looked great and felt great. somebody give me a kick in the butt.Clinique or Philosophy or Proactive? Help my skin!!?
What you need is a series of products- U might want to try a scrub for the blackheads and to make your pores appear smaller, In addition to a cleanser, toner and moisturizer, because even though u say u have oily skin, it needs moisture too- otherwise all the products u are using will dry it out and cause more problems. Depending on what you are willing to spend, there are different options. For the scrub I would recommend MICRO D scrub by estee lauder, followed by their individualist- ($50?)this stuff is amazing, it helps to tighten the pores and makes ur face feel so smooth! As for the cleanser, you may want to try cliniques face bar for oily skin, my cousin uses it and I was amazed at how much better his skin looks- a toner is basic- cliniques runs at about 12- 20 dollars depending on the size- get one for oily skin and then the moisturizer. As for the dark circles, try an eye cream and some concealer. Hope this helps and I totally recommend these products- I have used them myself.
I love philosophy products but they're to expensive but it makes you skin so soft and beautiful. Once you use this product for a while you don't have to wear make up to cover you skin because it beautiful.
dun ever use CLINIQUE u will regret....
I'm a Clinique girl myself. I've been using the 3 step program for about 3 or 4 weeks now and have noticed a big change in my skin. My pores are smaller, I've had fewer breakouts, and my skin is a lot smoother. Some of Clinique's products do contain salicylic acid to fight acne, especially those in their acne solutions line. I bought the most basic things: the 3 step program with the acne solutions night gel for about $58 total at Macy's. The consultants can help you find the products that will help you out the most. (Just a tip: you may want to start out by treating one problem at a time. It will give your skin a chance to adapt to the new products and some problems may clear on their own with proper skin care, so if you buy like 20 products, you may have over bought unnecessarily).
    hi

I would advice you to try some home based remedies for skin ,hair and weight problems, this link has some good information it sure did help me so here goes,

    goodluck
i use clinique product and they are really great.. you just have to ask the person in charge for your skin type so that they will give you the right product for your skin their quite expensive but worth it...
The best thing is witch hazel. It's 100% pure, gentle and won't cause more problems. Inexpensive, too!

    http://www.witchhazel.com/
i hate proactiv, it just dried up my skin and made me break out more. clinique's skin care products are alright but can be sort of expensive compared to products with the same ingredients you can find at vons. right now i'm using OXY brand face wash which contains 10% bezoyl peroxide -- the highest amount available without a prescription, as well as target brand blackhead clearing scrub, which contains 2% salicylic acid, also the highest you can go without a prescription. try to stay away from using super strong products all the time, i never leave any products on my face overnight and my skin's a lot less broken out and irritated as it used to be.

i hope this helped a bit! check out rite aid or vons before you go for the expensive stuff, you're mostly just paying for the brand.

    take care!
Clique is my fav! I started out with just a sample of it when my friend was buying hers. I use it daily now. I use the mild foaming face wash, mild toner (for dry sensitive skin) and the lotion with a pump. my skin is a lot healthier and it has a better glow to it now.

oh and also, they do carry one with salicylic acid.

oh and go to a department store and ask if you could get a sample. it's really not too expensive and if it works, it's worth it. it honestly is not like any drugstore brand...
I struggled with acne for years and I finally found the solution that works for me. We have been fooled, tricked, deceived, and just plain lied to. It's time that someone put a stop to it, and everyone learn the truth!

Those of us who suffer from acne have usually been given 2 choices and neither of them work:

    1. Over the counter remedies such as cleansers, creams, ointments, etc. These things have been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

    2. Go see a doctor and or dermatologist. They will generally prescribe prescription drugs which include topicals and or antibiotics. This, too, has been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

I found a step-by-step program that cured my acne and it has never come back. It is amazing and doesn鈥檛 use any drugs or doctors. The truth is that acne can be cured鈥f we know the secret the doctors and drug companies don鈥檛 want us to know.

There is a great website: http://cure-my-acne.info/3daycure/ that has all the details. I really suggest you check it out and see if it works as well for you as it did for me.
I'm not sure how old you are, but I recently started using Loreal Adult Acne Regimen. I am 23. It is a daily 3 step system. I LOVE IT. I have been using it for about 4 weeks and I can definitly see results. You can get it at Wal-mart- it is in a blue box. I used to have really bad breakouts- especially when i was stressed. My breakouts have been reduced and some of my scars are actually dissappearing. Also, check your make-up- it might be causing breakouts as well.
    use glycolic skin products
I've used both clinique and proactive and been unhappy with both. A friend of mine introduced me to Arbonne and I'm extremely pleased with how my skin looks.

They have a specific acne line which works really well.

They have a line called Not So Basic Intelligence. It is formulated to self-adjust to your unique skin type. I love it!

I work for Lancome, so our interviews were slightly different. i know with Clinique and Estee though that they really want to make sure you are customer oriented and can work well with others. They'll probably ask you some odd questions like what are you most passionate about and Are you a good friend. Just be yourself and friendly. It's a fun job so good luck!!

Clinique or oil of olay? Which is better?

Which anti-aging products shows the most results? Oil of Olay or Clinique? I know Oil of Olay is more affordable and can be gotten more places, but I was wondering if Cliniques results were worth the difference in price....Clinique or oil of olay? Which is better?
Clinique is really good for your skin you can actually notice a difference.Clinique or oil of olay? Which is better?
Personally, I love Arbonne! I started using Arbonne's revolutionary NutriMinC Re9 Anti-Aging system last year (hydrating wash, balancing toner, facial serum, transforming lift, corrective eye cream, day creme, and night creme). They also have a great Intelligence line for teens (without anti-aging elements) that you might find beneficial. Arbonne's products are pure, safe, beneficial, hypoallergenic, pH correct, botanically-based products that are formulated with 9 key anti-aging elements. Arbonne does not use alcohol, wax, dyes, chemicals, fragrances, acetone, animal products and bi products, or mineral oil in any of their products which makes me feel good. I know that I'm using a natural system with maximum benefits. The systems also formulated with nanosphere technology. Nanosphere technology helps products to adjust to specific needs (applying more moisture in dry areas and less in oily areas). The anti-aging system is great for all ages and skin types and is specifically formulated to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, the affects of sun damage, and combat the visual signs of aging. Research shows that 6 months continued use of Arbonne's Re9 system gives a 68% decrease in deep density lines and wrinkles. However, I noticed results within a week or two. My skin was much more hydrated and healthy. If you're interested in learning more, I'll be happy to help you.
Truly depends on your skin type. Clinique offers products for ';all'; skin types. It didn't work for me. Simple oil of olay regenerist wash cloths and lotion works for me. I for one truly believe it is not worth the price. There was even a study done on different skin care products and believe it or not, O.O.O. came out above some treatments that were 300 dollars a bottle! Wish I could remember which show I saw this on. It only confirmed my hunch.

Sun protection - which better? Clinique or Lancome?

Hi. Which one would you recommend to buy (dry fair skin) for summer holidays in Greece.

either: Clinique Body Spray SPF 30 Sun Screen

or: Lancome Absolue Soleil Absolute Replenishing Sun Protection Body Cream SPF 30?

Thanks!Sun protection - which better? Clinique or Lancome?
The Clinique Sun-Care Body Spray SPF 30 Sun Block includes avobenzone for UVA protection, but its base formula is mainly alcohol, and the ingredient methyl hydrogenated rosin can cause contact dermatitis. Sounds like the Lancome is better. Be sure to check the ingredients, though. I would go for Neutrogena sunscreens; they're cheaper and have better formulations. Try the Ultra Sheer line. It's great.Sun protection - which better? Clinique or Lancome?
    i would say Clinique. coz

Clinique's solar-activated UV-Response in a spray. Broad spectrum UVA-UVB sun-care, helping prevent signs of premature aging. Contains anti-oxidants. Clinique. Allergy Tested. 100% Fragrance Free.

Contains antioxidant protection that increases with the intensity of the sun, provides SPF 30 UVB/UVA protection, oil-free, water-proof, ideal for those hard to reach places, allergy-tested.

Apply liberally and evenly to skin 15-20 minutes prior to sun exposure. And reapply immediately after swimming or perspiring.

UV Response : Face Cream SPF 30 Oil-free

    After-Sun : Rescue Balm
I would choose neither. Tests have shown best results for cheaper products. Such as sun blockers from Aldi or Lidl. Often the more expensive products contain perfumes and other ingredients that can cause skin irritations. So why spend a lot of money on a name? Look for results. Select the highest SPF for the first days and remember to reapply after swimming.

    Have a great holiday!
Clinique Body Spray SPF 30 Sun Screen

  • Which mascara is better.. dior diorshow, maybelline greatlash, or clinique high impact?

only answer if you've tried more than ONE please :) i really don't want to be misled. i've been saving for a while.

    1. clinque

i know about the prices, that's not an issue here.

thanks to all!Which mascara is better.. dior diorshow, maybelline greatlash, or clinique high impact?
I have also tried all of these and I would say that Clinique high impact is deffinately the best, It doesn't clump at all or apply to much, It doesn't flake off %26amp; looks amazing. not to mention its the cheapest one price wise!Which mascara is better.. dior diorshow, maybelline greatlash, or clinique high impact?
i've tried clinique, cover girl, maybelline great lash, maybelline volume express, loreal volume shocking, almay, and probably some other ones.

I find that I really liked the clinique the most and I am currently using the cover girl (the orange container), I like that as well.
OMG GreatLash sucks so bad it isn't even FUNNY! It dries out lashes, makes them brittle, is clumpy. One of the best by Maybelline is Full nSoft.

Hands down, of the ones you listed, Diorshow is the best.
diorshow, every application is great.. makes the lashes more dramatic.. and if it gets a little clumpy, i comb the lashes out and it looks even better :)
dior and clinique tie to me

    maybelline is under those two.

i end up using clinique now cause i get all their gift set things and they usually have mini mascaras.
clinique i think is the best
clinique is my fave. but maybelline works great too.
Diorshow...which reminds me...I need to get some more mascara!!!

Does Murad or Clinique work better? ?

I have combination skin and i have acne on my face. Not severe but enought for make up. Acne free worked pretty good. Proacctive sucked. And clinique is making me breakout alittle worse. Will that take time to work? And would Murad or Clear Pores work? And if anything else does please tell i just dont want to spend too much, like over $50. thanks.Does Murad or Clinique work better? ?
Clinique is good. I use their 3-step, but not for acne. It is okay if you get worse after a week, so you have to give it up to 4 weeks, I believe, to see if it actually works. Actually, when you do break out a little, I heard it means all the bad stuff is coming to the surface, which is a good thing.

I heard the philosophy acne line was great! Am thinking of switching to their line myself. They have a ';on a clear day'; wash that I heard was great. www.philosophy.com

I actually used the Murad Acne line (don't know why since I didn't have acne, but oily skin and some pimples) and it totally dried me out. I don't think I gave it enough time, but after the first two days, I couldn't take a tight, flaky face, so I stopped using it.

Have you considered going to a Dermotologist? You may not even have acne, but he or she will prescribe a cream for you and/or other skin care products.

I also recommend the book The Skin Type Solution. I just got it and took the quiz to see what skin type I have. You then get a list of products that are good for skin type, as well as ingredients to look for and stay away from. At 12 bucks it is worth it.

I hope this helps. Good luckDoes Murad or Clinique work better? ?
Well i cant help you totally but i use clinique and it does usually bring you out for the first couple of weeks before your face calms down. That's what happened to me and i asked the saleswoman regarding it and she said it clears itself. 8 months later my skin is clear. Good luck and hope i sort of helped :)

Maybe you should try Origins which is all natural or Estee Lauder. I thnk one of those two would be a better bet.ACNE QUESTION HELP!!?? to use or not use clinique?
Apple fast method is one most effective treatment that really work for me and everyone, any skin types. Its easy home remedies.

    Instruction :

    1. Eat 10 or more Red Delicious Apples per day for three days, drink water only, 3oz of grape juice the last day, and Plenty of Water to Drink.

    2. You also needed to massage pure castor oil into your affected skin each night before retiring. Steam face with hot (not hot enough to burn), washclot before massage castor oil. This was to help keep the pores open.

Get rid your acne in 3 days. Easy and inexpensive but effective.

    Good luck.
If you have acne, Clinique isn't going to help you. Clinique is just a cleansing system. It doesn't have any medicine (like benzol peroxide or salicylic acid) to help acne. It for people who really don't have any skin problems (those people rarely exist!). I would recommend going to your dermatologist and getting prescription grade acne treatment.

    Good Luck
You use clinique what? makeup or skincare? Well I personally have had a bad experience with their foundations, they made me break out a lot and I had to stop using them and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. My opinion about clinique skin care is that its really over rated. I like the toner because it gets rid of dead skin cells, but the soap and moisturizer are not good. If you are breaking out more often stop using it and try using a gentle face cleanser from your drug store and see if this helps.
i dontknow if it is or isnt working for you. i used clinques 3 step face wash. i really really liked it. my problem is more dry skin rather than acne, but it also kept my face clear. i really like the 2nd step. it really helped clear my pores and the after lotion, step 3, really was great. it really worked for me
i had the same problem i tried everything my last resort was the doctors they give me a gel to put on at night and iv only had about a week and my spots have nearly gone yuppppyyy :D

Working for Mac, Clinique, Benefit, Lancome?

About how much do these companies pay hourly wise? And commission, if you know. Thanks!!!Working for Mac, Clinique, Benefit, Lancome?
Usually a little bit above minimum wage, plus a small commision and a tiny bonus for every customer you get to open a charge account. You do get some pretty cool free product though!Working for Mac, Clinique, Benefit, Lancome?
MAC pays the best... full and part time employees make $13+ an hour. I was working freelance for them making $15. I also worked at Clinique (about 5 years ago) and they were paying me $9. I think that cosmetics is definately the way to go when working retail because they pay the best! Report Abuse

    8ish dollars.

and its so much fun working there, and doing the peoples makeup!

If you use Clinique's Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm (the one in the tub, NOT the bottle!)...?

After you rinse it off, do you then wash your face with a separate cleanser? (Or do you think of the Balm as your makeup remover + cleanser in one?)

Also, about how much of the balm do you use at a time? (Please compare it to something of similar size, like maybe a coin...)

Thanks everyone! If you use Clinique's Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm (the one in the tub, NOT the bottle!)...?
The cleansing balm is meant to take your makeup off easily but it doesn't really clean your skin. Clinique's theory is that you still need to follow their 3 Step program once you take your makeup off. I would say you should scoop like a nickel's worth of the balm.

I used to be one of the white coat girls so I really do know my stuff. Good Luck!

  • Which is better for concealing blemishes: Advanced Concealer (clinique) or Mac's studio finish spf 35?

Neither. When you use a concealer all you are doing is covering up the problem. You should start by finding a good cleanser and toner that works for your skin type. Get rid of the problem instead of covering it. I know you will still get some blemishes and it is alright to use a concealer for the occasional cover-up. If you are going to buy one anyway go with the spf 35. You should start wrinkle care early that way you don't have to fight with them so hard when they really are an issue.

Which makeup product is best--lancome or clinique?

just wonderingWhich makeup product is best--lancome or clinique?
Lancome is better. But I prefer to use Maybeline blush.Which makeup product is best--lancome or clinique?
Clinique is better on lipsticks than Lacome.

But I prefer cover girl over most brands of other makeup products

Clinique 3 step cleaning is very good though for the money.
Depends on the type of makeup product. Clinique is good for people with sensitive skin because its hypo-allergenic, so you won't break out/get rashes, etc. I used lancome foundation before and it worked very well, maybe even better than clinique but it made my skin itch.

    Acnefree or clinique 3 step?

I have no idea which one will work better for my skin and I dont want to waste my money!!! I jsut no dont know which 1?

Dotn say rpoactive either. thansk1Acnefree or clinique 3 step?
clinique 3-step. i use 3-step and its a bigger company...if they don't work for you u can always return themAcnefree or clinique 3 step?
clinique 3-step worked for a friend of mine.

...however, proactive worked great for me :]

a cheap product that also works well is tea tree oil cleanser cloths, they're 4 or 5 dollars for a pack of 50. you can get them at trader joes or whole foods or probably safeway too. i still use them, they're really refreshing. it's a nice toner.
AcneFree SUCKS ASSS!!! It's awful and not to mention that the whole lotion they give you makes you super sticky. Let me tell you something. SAVE YOUR MONEY and get a cleanser like Neutrogena Deep Clean Cream Cleanser, then apply this gel that you can get at www.acne.org (it's a benzoyl peroxide gel you can buy it on the website for 8 bucks) and it's amazing quality and the lotion helps you acne AMAZINGLY! Like my acne went away in just 1 day! then after putting this gel, apply a moisturizer with an SPF...you can read all the deatils at www.acne.org but its the only thing that saved me!!!!

tinted moisturizers have very light coverage, so no.

you will need a good concealer.

Is clinique really a good brand of makeup?

I think its personal opinion. I have never used it myself, but i know pple who have sworn by it. Specifically the foundation. I know pple say it's really good for skin that breaks out easily. I use L'Oreal myself and it's never done me wrong. Is clinique really a good brand of makeup?
its good for not overly expensive make up and its hypoallegenic

but when buying make up, price shouldnt come first. this is stuff u put on ur face and can potentially ruin skin, so buy top notch! Is clinique really a good brand of makeup?
Yes, I have been wearing it since I started wearing make-up. It is pricey but it lasts a long time and is very good.
Yes, they have some very good products. The eyeshadow quads are wonderful. They are silky, apply well, and most of the colors are fantastic. I just bought the new Pink Chocolate line and am very happy with it.

The longlasting lipsticks are great. They really do last a long time.

Remember, not every line is going to have the best of everything. It's not possible.
yes its expensive but it doesn't mean its any better then MAC for example.
I prefer their skincare line over their makeup, but they are quality products. I just have to represent for my Merle Norman Cosmetics... lol.
its ok but i like the site below you can just click on it

Yes, I have a bunch of clinque products like their eyeshadows, lipglosses, makeup remover, makeup brushes, blushes, etc. good brand.
Depends on what kind of makeup you like to wear. But yes, it is a high quality brand.
    its ok
I don't use it myself - I use Vichy, but my daughter uses Clinique and loves it. She says there is nothing like it.

    This site may help.
    hell no
There are others I like better, but it's not bad. I've got a couple of their lipsticks which are good and not that expensive.
I have used Clinique for years. My favorite product is Long Pretty Lashes. Wonderful products--I would recommend them to EVERYONE!!!
    I personally love it.
i wasn't impressed it made me break out i like bare minerals it's very gentle.
I prefer MAC and Lancome personally.
yes, it's top of the line! i have some foundation and eyeshadow from clinique and i love it! a little pricey... but i still love it!
Yup! I'm in love with the mascara.
Yes. but for me Estee Lauder is the best
    Very good.
